Stens Corporation offers a wide variety of physiological sensors and electrode cables. Because the NeXus product series has active amplifiers built into the encoder, you will only require our carbon coated electrode cables (with active shielding) for recording electrophysiological signals. Other modalities require sensors with dedicated electronics. For researchers: on request we also offer custom sensors or adaptors for third party sensors. Please contact us for more information.

 

NeXus-10 EXG electrode cable
2 channel cable for EEG, EMG, ECG & EOG! This is a dual channel multi-purpose electrode cable that uses carbon coating and active shielding technology for low noise and virtual absence of movement artifacts. This snapon cable is suitable for recording EEG, EMG, ECG and EOG. Comes complete with a medical grade brushed metal connector. This cable requires the additional ground cable.

 

NeXus-10 EXG ground cable
Ground cable for EEG, EMG, ECG, EOG ,SCP. This electrode cable with carbon coating is used for connecting the encoder ground to the client. When recording electrophysiological signals (EEG, EMG, ECG, EOG or SCP) a single ground is always required. This ground cable can be used in combination with the EXG or the SCP cable. Connect it to the Gnd. input of the NeXus-10, NeXus-16 or NeXus-32.

 

NeXus-10 SCP electrode cable
SCP (slow cortical potential) cable
This is an SCP electrode cable that uses carbon coating and active shielding technology for low noise and virtual absence of movement artifacts. It comes with sintered electrodes for optimum DC stability and a medical grade brushed metal connector. This cable requires a ground (Gnd) cable.

 

NeXus-10 SC/GSR Sensor
SC/GSR Sensor
This is the NeXus-10 Skin Conductance sensor capable of recording the electrical conductance or resistance (GSR) of the skin. With the ultra high 24 bit resolution of the NeXus it can resolve changes of less than 0.0001 microsiemens. Two finger sensors are included.

 

NeXus-10 RSP Sensor
Respiration Sensor
The Respiration sensor monitors abdominal or chest breathings with high accuracy. It can be easily worn over or under the clothes, This sensor offers such high sensitivity that you can even observe the heart beat with it. Like all neXus-10 sensors it comes with a medical grade brushed metal connector.

 

NeXus-10 BVP Sensor
Blood Volume Pulse Sensor
This BVP sensor monitors the relative blood flow in the hands (fingers) with near infrared light. This method is also know as photoplethysmography. (PPG) From the pulse signal the software can compute the heart rate. That way it enables the user to monitor HRV (heart rate variability) in an easy way.

 

NeXus-10 Temperature Sensor
High Resolution Skin Temperature
In combination with the NeXus-10, this highly sensitive temperature sensor can monitor skin temperature changes smaller than 0.0001 (1/10000th) degree! The sensor can be applied on the hands or other parts of the body. The medical grade brushed metal connector ensures a safe and reliable connection.

 

Nonin Oximetry Sensor
Oximetry Sensor
This Oximetry Sensor can be used with the NeXus-10, NeXus-16 or neXus-32. It provides digital readings of the relative oxygen saturation level in the blood. It also provides pulse and heart rate information. The 4 pin brushed metal connector ensures a safe and reliable connection.

 

NeXus Force Sensor
Force Sensor (50N, 500N or 5000N)
We offer this special series of 'force' sensors for the NeXus 10, 16 and 32. You can choose from a force range of 0-50 Newton, 0-500 Newton or 0-5000 Newton. Very sturdy design. The 24 bit design of NeXus provides high precision and reliable signals. Comes complete with a medical grade brushed metal connector and precision amplifier.

 

Ring Electrode Set (22 pcs)
QEEG sintered Electrode Set
This is a special set of 22 uni-polar electrode cables that use carbon coating and active shielding technology for low noise and virtual absence of movement artifacts. The micro-coax connectors fit on the NeXus-16 and NeXus-32 EEG inputs. The sintered (Ag/AgCl) ring electrodes can be used as is, or in combination with the EasyCap EEG cap.
