This workshop is intended for clinicians specializing in the treatment of neurobehavioral disorders. We will review basic concepts in qEEG and Neurofeedback focusing on methods for assessment, intervention, and measuring outcome.
Instructor:
Jack Johnstone, Ph.D.
Jack received a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California , San Francisco , and is currently an Associate Researcher in the Department of Psychology at UCLA. He is President and CEO of Q-Metrx, Inc. and manages the Valley Sleep Center and the Q-Metrx quantitative EEG reporting services. Jack is currently also consulting with Aspect Medical Systems, Inc., on the “Biomarkers for Rapid Identification of Treatment Efficacy in Major Depression” study ( www.britemd.com ), and is often called upon as an expert witness in forensic cases utilizing qEEG. Dr. Johnstone has published and lectured widely on a variety of topics in qEEG and neuropsychology.
